Grúas y Equipos García participated in the transportation and assembly of metallic structures for the Continental plant, located in the municipality of Zapopan, Jalisco.
This structure functioned as a frame for a decorative awning that was intended to be placed; the frame had an isometric geometry that made the assembly maneuver difficult due to the variation of the object's center of gravity.
One of the most common risks in the assembly of metallic structures is caused by falling tools, materials and metallic profiles that fall from higher levels during transportation and placement, which is why personnel take all the necessary safety measures for this type of maneuvers.
For this job a crane was required Titan Terex 35 TonsThis crane is characterized by having a hydraulic boom of 33 meters long and can be extended up to 43 meters with the use of extension (boom) being a very fast equipment for transfers and operations.
The duration of this assembly maneuver was approximately 10 hours and it was developed for our client Concavus y Convexus S.A. de C.V.
